How Are You Different From The Terrorists? Good People vs Bad People

How does God see the terrorist and other bad people? Let us turn to Revelation 3:15-16, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth”. The terrorist is blatantly against the True God; in other words “cold”. Many would call the United States a “christian” nation because most people “believe” in God and think that God is all loving and merciful. Most people, including those of you reading this, consider yourself good because you think you are doing more good than bad. The truth is you are indifferent, self-conceited and delusional regarding your standing before a Holy and Righteous God; in other words “lukewarm.” Most people in America, including those in churches, fall into the “lukewarm” category which results in eternal destruction. As we read in Matthew 11:21ff, most people during Jesus' ministry rejected His teaching and miracles because of their indifference and self-delusional thinking. Jesus' response to them was, “Nevertheless I say to you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgement, than for you.” (Matthew 11:24). In short, many of you lukewarm readers will incur a more severe punishment in hell than the terrorists we read about in the news today. I know that many of you church-goers will put yourself into the “hot” category, but are you truly endeavoring to obey His word, denying self, earnestly seeking His holiness and fighting against your sin that so easily entangles and destroys your life? Be forewarned, if you think I am being overly critical and “judgemental”, then you are most likely resisting the truth and you are in grave danger.
