I was appalled after watching the comments by New York state's Attorney General Letitia James today. This is the same woman who campaigned on the promise to “take on” Donald Trump and his business interests if elected Attorney General. Can you imagine pledging to cause harm to someone if elected to an government position? Shame on her and those people who actually voted to elect such a person. If I was this woman's father, I would take her behind the wood shed and give her a good arse whooping in an effort the beat the nonsense out of her. This type of behavior is indicative of a self-absorbed and petulant child, and should be treated as such.
Letitia James' comments today include, “We will continue to stand tall in the face of injustice, revenge, or retribution.” This woman has the gall to say this after she has done exactly this against Donald Trump for the past 6 years. Her legal attacks against Donald Trump are unmerited, petty, and a gross abuse of power. These are actions that should be cause for immediate termination from the office of Attorney General and revocation of her license to practice law.
Furthermore, she said, "We've created contingency plans, so no matter what the next administration throws at us, we're ready. We're ready to respond to their attacks. We're ready to respond to any attempts to cut or eliminate any funding to the great state of New York." These are comments of a prideful and entitled black woman.
What does God's Word actually say regarding this matter? Anger and hatred without cause, or any just cause, is murder according to God's Word (Matthew 5:21-22). Murder includes malice, false accusations, personal grudges, malicious gossip, rioting, looting and any intent to cause injury or harm to another. Exodus 23:1-2 summarizes malicious speech and I quote, “You shall not bear a false report; do not join your hand with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. You shall not follow the masses in doing evil, nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after a multitude in order to pervert justice.”
Many of you reading this article have been guilty of the same thing as Letitia James. Maybe not at this scale, but in our own small way we are guilty of murder according to God's Word. We all would do well to heed what Christ said in Matthew 16:24,“If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.”
