It is appalling to me that many learned people and affirmative action hirelings (e.g. Supreme Court justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and Harvard University President Claudine Gay) in both our private and governmental sectors who promote gender equity and diversity training in the workplace find it difficult to define what a woman is. I will tell you exactly what a real woman is according to God's Word. I will start with Genesis 2:18ff, “Then the Lord God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him', So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.” This is how the woman was created by God Himself as a wife for Adam. It is common sense what a woman is anatomically, or at least it should be, but what is a real woman's role as a wife according to God's Word? Wives, whatever task your husband finds his hand to do, he will do that task far better with you alongside him vs. him doing it by himself. Try not to live separate lives and careers under the pretense of marriage. Wives, make your home so inviting to your husband that he would be a complete moron to wander elsewhere. Wives, if you are prone to quarreling and disputing in your household, you best heed what God says to husbands in Proverbs 21:9, “It is better to live in a corner of a roof than in a house shared with a contentious woman.”
Next let us go to Ephesians 5:33 to further define the role of a wife. “Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.” This is how Websters Dictionary defines respect, “To view, treat, or consider with some degree of reverence, deference, or courtesy; to feel or show honor or esteem for.” This clear commandment to honor and respect your husband's authority has been so perverted in our culture today it has single-handedly destroyed the traditional family that was common 100 years ago. God warned us in His Word what the woman's curse would be after she ate from the forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3:16, “To the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you will bring forth children; yet your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” I do not think that the feminist movement of today would concur with what God just said because it strikes at the core of our prideful hearts. Wives, remember that respect is paramount in a marriage. That means you do not undermine your husband's authority. Be careful when you talk about your husband amongst your friends; do not criticize or belittle him. If you have something to say to him, you talk to him one to one, rather than airing your dirty laundry with others.
What we have witnessed over the past 100 years is an insidious push for women's rights. One of the consequences of this disobedience is billions of deaths via abortion worldwide over the past 40 years. We have seen women take on responsibilities once reserved for men (women pastors, military, police officers, and various other jobs that require strength and vigor). I find it unbecoming to see a woman in a military or police uniform trying to exhibit the characteristics of a real man. Even more offensive is a woman pastor soft peddling an all inclusive false gospel “that God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.” God's Word is very clear that women do not belong in the pulpit whatsoever in 1 Timothy 2:12. Yet this type of behavior is applauded and accepted as normal by many in the church and in our society. To be the “first woman” to do this or that is almost common everyday news today. The logic of this belief proves that these positions were more geared towards men since the beginning of time in the first place. Furthermore, this has nothing to do with women being inferior or less qualified, but rather because God has clearly defined in His Word that men and women have specific roles to live by. In a world that clamors for equality, God's Word is pretty clear that there are no equal rights in a marriage. Men are to behave and act as real men and women are to act and behave as real women according to what God has stated in His Word. In short, many of the problems I have just stated is because men have abdicated their God given responsibilities and allowed this garbage to creep into every corner of our culture. Once again, where are the real men?
What are the external and internal distinguishing marks of a real woman? God's Word in 1 Peter 3:3-4 answers this question, “Your adornment must not be merely external, braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quite spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.” Ladies, you are the most beautiful creatures God ever created on this earth. Dress accordingly; dresses were standard apparel for women 100 years ago in this country. Unfortunately today many women look and act like men. Remember, special occasions are not the only time to wear a dress. When a woman wears a modest dress and looks like a lady and not a sex object, it not only changes her appearance but also her behavior. In addition, it will change how men treat her. I find it most disturbing when an anti-woke beer company called Ultra Right Beer Co. is promoting a 2024 calendar titled “Conservative Dad's Real Women of America”. The purpose of the calendar is to raise money to help save women's sports and the Riley Gaines charity organization. Though the cause may be warranted to some degree, the execution of this messaging portrays women as sex objects. Though the inclusion of men in women's sports is wrong, it is equally wrong for Riley Gaines and other conservative women to flaunt their bodies in an immodest way for all to see. This calendar does nothing to promote what a real woman is according to God's Word, but rather is an exploitation of women to promote beer sales. And we wonder why our kids are so confused today in this world.
Women, do you realize that you can effect a powerful change by applying God's standard of behavior for women vs. demanding your own rights. In turn, you will enable men to become real men who will love and cherish you and be willing to climb the highest mountains for you. There are many consequences for failing to obey God's Word, but there are also many rewards to striving to obey God's Word.
