Is Pope Francis Of His Father The Devil?

A recent edict by Pope Francis permitting church blessings on same-sex couples is nothing short of blasphemy according to God's Word. It is evident that Pope Francis wants to be his own god and would rather ignore what the true and sovereign God of all things invisible and visible says in His Word, as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators (premarital sex), nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” It is obvious Pope Francis' manifesto of blessing same-sex couples disobeys God's clear commandment not to engage in such a lifestyle. Pope Francis also went on to say that “people seeking God's love and mercy shouldn't be subject to an exhaustive moral analysis” in order to receive the church's blessing. The Pope's understanding of who God is is gravely in error. If God's love and mercy is all that God is, then we might as well eat, drink, and live our life anyway we please because God will save us because He is all about “love,” right?

Contrary to what Pope Francis says, God's Word demands an exhaustive moral analysis of our life as stated in II Corinthians 13:5, “Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves!” The most loving thing you can do for someone is to alert them of danger ahead instead of coddling a perverted lifestyle or particular sin. Any Catholic parishioner with an ounce of common sense would make an exit out the door of the Catholic church in a heartbeat. This type of blasphemy from clergy is reprehensible and Pope Francis should be excommunicated immediately from his papacy.

It is only those people who are weak and heavy-ladened with their sin who will receive rest (Matthew 11:28). It is not admitting you are a sinner, but rather feeling the burden of your own sin, both the guilt and power of sin. Only those people that are truly sensible of their sin and groan under it and are convinced of the great evil of their own sin can be saved. Those that are truly sick of their own vileness before a holy and righteous God will be prepared to receive pardon and rest. The fear of God ought to be a good motivator in pushing all of us towards obedience to His precepts and ordinances. Yes, God is love, but He is also a God of wrath. As stated in Matthew 10:28, “Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Fear God and keep His commandments would be a good start towards living a good life.

So what is the answer to the question “Is Pope Francis of his father the devil?” Based upon God's Word as we have stated, the answer is yes. Pope Francis is enticing others to engage in that which is contrary to God's Word. We have always lived in a time where people are eager to listen to teachers and those in authority who will enable and promote lifestyles and sins that gratify our sensual appetites. God warns us in II Timothy 4:3, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires.”
